Update August 6, 2017-
Finally got the first salmon this year along with four lake trout. Salmon went just about 18 pounds. Hopefully more this coming weekend! Give me a call for a weekend trip. Update July 27, 2017- Walleye fishing is still going well and lake trout are abundant anytime we target them. Everyone is anxiously waiting for the salmon to start going. My weekday trips are coming to a close this year. I am a Jr/Sr. High School Principal and will be back to school on the 3rd of August. I'm still booking trips on the weekends through September so is you are planning to come to Ft. Peck, give me a shout. Update July 18, 2017- Another great day on the water. Photo at left. -Update July 16, 2017- Caught and released two fish on 16th July. One was 27 1/2 inches while big one was 30 inches. Also caught a limit of 18-24 inches. Great day. Off the water by 11:00 before the heat set in. - Update July 14, 2017- WOW! What a couple days of fishing. On July 12th and 13th we had some of the best fishing Ft. Peck has to offer. We caught a total of 82.28 pounds of walleye. The heaviest weight for 10 of those fish was 56.7 pounds, one of which was 30 inches. Today I'll start gearing us for the salmon season which is just starting up. If last year's success is any indication of what is in store, this should be another banner year. Last year we caught a great number of king salmon between 18 and 24 pounds. Give me a call and we can get a trip scheduled. ph: 406-390-6892. -June 4th 2017- Had a great first trip this season and it's looking to be a fantastic summer.
